Princess Marshmallow Fluff (often shortened to Princess Marshmallow) is the crown princess of Unicornia and the daughter of Queen Dusk.

Appearance

Princess Marshmallow is very tall and thin, with long elegant neck and legs. Her coat is pale pink with white markings: a frosting-like splash on her back, gradients on her legs, tips of her ears and horn, and freckles. The white on her back has colorful flecks like sprinkles. Her hooves are pink, and may be depicted cloven.

Her mane and tail are both tied/braided in 4 pieces, pink/yellow/green/blue. Her mane covers half her face, with a few strands escaping at the top. She wears a white bow on the back of her head and at the base of her tail. She has thick pink eyebrows and eyelashes.

Her Cutiemark is several shaped marshmallows: a pink heart, pink/yellow/green twist, yellow star and a normal white marshmallow.

Her ankle heart is blue.

Personality

Princess Marshmallow is exceptionally kind and friendly to everypony she meets. She's very bubbly and has a lot of energy. As a princess, she is prevented from leaving the castle alone and doesn't get a lot of one-on-one time with anypony, but she is desperate to make as many friends as possible.

She would describe her special talent as "sharing", but will later come to understand it actually represents diplomacy. She is one of the only Unicorns interested in ending the war through diplomatic means, and strongly believes that everypony can get along and live together in harmony.

Notable relationships

  • Queen Dusk: Her mother. Though they don't see eye to eye politically, they are very close. She believes Dusk is only doing what she thinks is best for the kingdom.
  • Chalk Dust: Her closest friend. They met by chance in a shop, Princess Marshmallow had snuck out to avoid boring royal duties and was eager to chat with a pony she'd never seen before. He's pretty cagey, but she doesn't mind.
